To diagnose, repair / service / MoT the range of client products in accordance with clients work specifications, ensuring each customer receives excellent customer service.
Key Performance Indicators
• Ensure all repairs are completed within Book Time and completed correctly.
• Ensure workspace is hazard free.
Carry out safety inspections as required.
Complete all relevant paperwork in the correct and proper manner.
Repairing and servicing vehicles booked into the workshop.
Diagnosing faults on vehicles.
Carry out MoT Tests.
o Diagnose EML (Engine Management Lights) using electronic equipment.
o Diagnosing faults on vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
o Strip and rebuild engines.
o Repair and fit clutches, cam-belts and gearboxes.
Strip fit and replace components on vehicles.
Ensure all jobs run smoothly and deadlines are met.
Assist with the storage of vehicles on site.
Inform office when parts / stock needs replenishing/ordering.
Assist other Vehicle Technicians with repairs as and when necessary.
To carry out any other reasonable request given by a member of management.
